01 · Electrical Repairs

Electrical Repairs in Maryland

Faulty outlets, flickering lights, tripping breakers — small electrical issues become big problems fast. We diagnose the root cause and fix it right the first time, to code, every time.

What's included

  • Outlet and switch replacement
  • Tripping breaker diagnosis
  • Flickering light troubleshooting
  • Wiring fault repair
  • GFCI and AFCI installation
  • Burnt or scorched device replacement

Common questions

How fast can you come out?

Most repair requests within Calvert or Anne Arundel County are scheduled within 1–3 business days. Emergencies can usually be addressed same-day — call us directly.

Do you provide written estimates?

Yes. Every repair gets a clear, written estimate before any work starts. No surprise charges.

02 · Electrical Panel Upgrades

Electrical Panel Upgrades in Maryland

Older panels were never built for today's electrical loads — EVs, induction ranges, heat pumps, and home offices. We design and install panel upgrades that future-proof your home.

What's included

  • 100A to 600A service upgrades
  • Permit pulling and inspection coordination
  • Sub-panel installation
  • Whole-home surge protection
  • Federal Pacific / Zinsco panel replacement
  • Meter base replacement

Common questions

How much does a panel upgrade cost?

Panel upgrades start at $4,500 — material costs keep climbing and we won't cut corners on a service that has to last 30+ years. Final price depends on amperage (100A up to 600A), meter location, and utility coordination. Every job gets a firm written quote after a free on-site assessment.

Do you handle the permits?

Yes. We pull all permits and coordinate inspection with the county and your utility — BGE, SMECO, or Pepco — so you don't have to.

03 · Custom Lighting Design

Custom Lighting Design in Maryland

Lighting is what makes a house feel like a home — or a showroom. Our custom lighting work blends layered design with rock-solid wiring, from kitchen drama to whole-home dimming systems.

What's included

  • Layered kitchen and great-room lighting plans
  • Under-cabinet and toe-kick LED
  • Accent and gallery lighting
  • Dimmer and smart-switch installation
  • Color-tunable LED systems
  • Lighting plans for new builds and remodels

Common questions

Do you design or just install?

Both. We'll walk your space, listen to how you use it, and propose a layered plan — or work directly from your designer's spec.

Can you make my existing lights dimmable or smart?

In most cases yes. We retrofit smart switches, dimmers, and color-tunable bulbs that work with Lutron, Caséta, and standard ecosystems.

04 · EV Charger Installation

EV Charger Installation in Maryland

We install Level 2 EV chargers the way the manufacturer intended — proper circuit, proper conduit, proper load calc. No melted plugs, no warranty issues.

What's included

  • Tesla Wall Connector installs
  • ChargePoint, Wallbox, Emporia, JuiceBox
  • Universal NEMA 14-50 outlets
  • Load calculations and sub-panels
  • Outdoor weatherproof installs
  • Permit and inspection handling

Common questions

What does an EV charger install cost?

Most installs average $750–$2,500 depending on the distance from your panel, whether a sub-panel is needed, and trenching for outdoor units. Free on-site quotes.

Are there Maryland rebates?

Yes — Maryland Energy Administration and certain utilities offer EV charger rebates. We'll point you at current programs during your quote.

05 · Recessed Lighting

Recessed Lighting in Maryland

Recessed lighting opens up a room and modernizes it instantly. We do clean cuts, even spacing, balanced wattage and dimming — finished work you'd put in a brochure.

What's included

  • Slim LED canless retrofits
  • New-construction housings
  • Ceiling layout and spacing design
  • Dimmer compatibility
  • Drywall patching coordination
  • Sloped and vaulted ceilings

Common questions

How many cans do I need?

Rule of thumb is one 4–6" can per 16–20 sq ft for ambient light. We do the math during the walk-through and show you the layout.

Will you patch the drywall?

Yes — we offer drywall patching as part of the job since not every install can avoid cutting in. Slim canless retrofits usually need only a 4" cut that the trim covers, but when larger access is required we patch, mud, and prep the area so it's ready for paint.

06 · Landscape Lighting

Landscape Lighting in Maryland

Great landscape lighting makes your home look incredible at night and adds real safety to walkways and entries. We design, wire, and install systems that last.

What's included

  • Path and walkway lighting
  • Tree uplights and moonlighting
  • Architectural facade wash
  • Dock and waterfront lighting
  • Low-voltage transformer wiring
  • Smart timer and dusk-to-dawn control

Common questions

Do you offer LED?

Exclusively. LED landscape fixtures last 10×+ longer and use a fraction of the power. Modern color quality is excellent.

Can you light my dock?

Yes — dock and waterfront lighting is one of our favorite jobs. We use marine-rated fixtures and proper GFCI protection.

07 · Ceiling Fan Installation

Ceiling Fan Installation in Maryland

Big-box fans and incorrect boxes cause wobble, noise, and worst-case ceiling damage. We install fan-rated boxes, support, and wiring so it's safe and silent.

What's included

  • Fan-rated electrical box installation
  • New fan and light kit wiring
  • Smart and remote-controlled fans
  • High-ceiling installs with downrods
  • Fan replacement and removal
  • Quiet bath exhaust fan installation

Common questions

Can you add a fan where there's no fixture?

Yes. We can run new wiring and install a fan-rated box where one doesn't exist.

Why is my old fan wobbling?

Almost always because it's mounted on a standard light box, not a fan-rated box. We'll fix it.

08 · Home Remodel Wiring

Home Remodel Wiring in Maryland

Remodels live or die on what's behind the drywall. We do clean, labeled, code-compliant rough-in and finish wiring that inspectors and other trades love working with.

What's included

  • Kitchen and bath remodels
  • Basement finishing
  • Addition wiring
  • Whole-home rewires
  • Permit pulling and inspection
  • Coordination with general contractors

Common questions

Do you work with my GC?

Absolutely. We coordinate scope, schedule, and inspection windows with your GC and other trades.

Can you handle a full rewire?

Yes. Whole-home rewires are some of our most rewarding work — knob-and-tube, aluminum, and old cloth wiring all replaced with modern Romex.

09 · Emergency Electrical

Emergency Electrical in Maryland

If you smell burning, see sparks, or have dead power, call us immediately. We prioritize true emergencies and respond fast across Calvert and Anne Arundel County.

What's included

  • Burning smell or scorched device
  • Loss of power to part of the home
  • Tripping main breaker
  • Storm damage and downed service
  • Smoke from outlets or panels
  • Generator transfer issues

Common questions

How do I reach you after hours?

Text is preferred — send (443) 342-6863 your name, address, email, and a quick description of the problem so we can respond with the right information. You can also leave a voicemail at the same number and we'll get back to you.

What if it's not safe to wait?

Cut power at the main breaker if you can do so safely, get out of the affected area, and call 911 if there's active fire or smoke.
