How fast can you come out?

Most repair requests within Calvert or Anne Arundel County are scheduled within 1–3 business days. Emergencies can usually be addressed same-day — call us directly.

Do you provide written estimates?

Yes. Every repair gets a clear, written estimate before any work starts. No surprise charges.

How much does a panel upgrade cost?

Panel upgrades start at $4,500 — material costs keep climbing and we won't cut corners on a service that has to last 30+ years. Final price depends on amperage (100A up to 600A), meter location, and utility coordination. Every job gets a firm written quote after a free on-site assessment.

Do you handle the permits?

Yes. We pull all permits and coordinate inspection with the county and your utility — BGE, SMECO, or Pepco — so you don't have to.

Do you design or just install?

Both. We'll walk your space, listen to how you use it, and propose a layered plan — or work directly from your designer's spec.

Can you make my existing lights dimmable or smart?

In most cases yes. We retrofit smart switches, dimmers, and color-tunable bulbs that work with Lutron, Caséta, and standard ecosystems.

What does an EV charger install cost?

Most installs average $750–$2,500 depending on the distance from your panel, whether a sub-panel is needed, and trenching for outdoor units. Free on-site quotes.

Are there Maryland rebates?

Yes — Maryland Energy Administration and certain utilities offer EV charger rebates. We'll point you at current programs during your quote.

How many cans do I need?

Rule of thumb is one 4–6" can per 16–20 sq ft for ambient light. We do the math during the walk-through and show you the layout.

Will you patch the drywall?

Yes — we offer drywall patching as part of the job since not every install can avoid cutting in. Slim canless retrofits usually need only a 4" cut that the trim covers, but when larger access is required we patch, mud, and prep the area so it's ready for paint.

Do you offer LED?

Exclusively. LED landscape fixtures last 10×+ longer and use a fraction of the power. Modern color quality is excellent.

Can you light my dock?

Yes — dock and waterfront lighting is one of our favorite jobs. We use marine-rated fixtures and proper GFCI protection.

Can you add a fan where there's no fixture?

Yes. We can run new wiring and install a fan-rated box where one doesn't exist.

Why is my old fan wobbling?

Almost always because it's mounted on a standard light box, not a fan-rated box. We'll fix it.

Do you work with my GC?

Absolutely. We coordinate scope, schedule, and inspection windows with your GC and other trades.

Can you handle a full rewire?

Yes. Whole-home rewires are some of our most rewarding work — knob-and-tube, aluminum, and old cloth wiring all replaced with modern Romex.
